Best websites with mockups for designers

We, graphic designers, are always on the look for high-quality mockups to showcase our concepts and final art in a professional way and, in the process, leave our clients speechless with how good their logo, poster, flyer or whatever it is looks in real life. At the end of the day, that’s what mockups are for. They are a designer’s best friend. And if you are good with photography, 3D modelling and Adobe Photoshop, you could create your own, customized mockups easier than you might think. But there are wonderful designers out there in the world who design amazing mockups for other graphic designers to use, and I want to show my gratitude by sharing with you the best websites to find and download great mockups to use on your next project.

1| Mr. Mockup

Mr. Mockup is my personal favorite with both free and paid wonderful mockups to download as high-quality PSDs. On this website you can find different categories:

  • Stationary, for business cards and letters

  • Magazines and Books

  • Packaging like boxes, make-up products and coffee cups

  • Posters and Frames

  • Signs and Billboards

  • Vehicles

  • Fashion and Apparel, for T-shirts, hoodies, etc.

  • Devices like iPhones and Macbooks

They also offer paid bundles and fonts you might consider purchasing for your next project.

2| Pixel Surplus

Pixel Surplus is another personal favorite I use all the time not only for mockups but also for stunning fonts. Like Mr. Mockup, Pixel Surplus also offers an extended catalog of both free and paid mockups as PSDs, making sure you always know the license they are under - personal or commercial. They update their products quite often, so I also recommend joining their newsletter - they send only a couple every week with new content and discounts.

3| Smartmockups

Smartmockups works differently from both Mr. Mockup and Pixel Surplus and I find it very interesting and distinct. It is a web-based mockup generator in which you upload your design to the mockup of your choice and it will give you the mockup ready to download as a JPG. It has a free version - no sign-ups needed - with some mockups and one download quality option - medium -, and a paid version with a huge mockup catalog and higher-quality downloads. Their mockups are divided by:

  • Technology with laptops, computers, phones, TVs…

  • Print with books, magazines, posters, stickers and more

  • Packaging

  • Apparel

  • Home and living with mugs, pillows and candles

4| Anthony Boyd Graphics

Anthony Boyd is a designer specializing in creating astonishing mockups, mostly within the world of technology: iPhones, Macbooks, Samsungs, tablets, smartwatches… But also beautiful posters, packaging, and printed media like books and business cards. And the most amazing thing about Anthony Boyd is that all the mockups are free to download as high-quality PSDs! They can be used in both personal and commercial projects to show your designs.

5| Unblast

Lastly, I recommend Unblast. This site works as a bank, giving you a huge archive of free mockups from different websites, so it will redirect you to them for download. Unblast includes all of these categories to help you navigate and find what you are looking for:

  • Brochures

  • Books

  • Bags

  • Logos

  • Packages

  • Apparel

  • Branding and stationary

  • Mobile and tablets

  • Business cards

  • Social media
